Ace & Tino

Tino has been on the street for a few years and started visiting Inn From The Cold April 2023. His best friend is a beagle named Ace. Ace is Tino's best friend and family. Tino fell on hard times, impacting his health and ability to care for his beloved Ace the way he had been previously. Late spring, he facilitated Ace being placed into a Foster Home with a wonderful person who could give Ace the care and love he deserved, while Tino go the help and support he needed to get his life back on track.

After 8 months, Tino’s sacrifice and hard work paid off! Tino now has his own place, where he can once again have his best friend back. Thanks to Royal Canin Canada’s Low Fat GI dry and canned food, Ace lost 10 kg! Tino is so grateful to Community Veterinary Outreach, Inn From The Cold and LOFT Services for providing him the constant support he needed over the last 3 years to get his life back. Tino never wants to be on the street again and, with all of us standing beside him, we know he can do it!

Visiting Tino and Ace in their new home, our CVO York Region team brought along lots of Royal Canin food for Ace and a great care bag for Tino, thanks to NVA Canada. Ace received all his vaccines before returning home to Tino - Thank You Boehringer Ingelheim! Tino will also not have to worry about Ace getting Lyme disease again thanks to being on Evicto from Virbac.
