Catherine began volunteering with Community Veterinary Outreach in 2019, before moving into various roles supporting CVO on a national level. Catherine holds a PhD in veterinary epidemiology through the Ontario Veterinary College. Her research centered on accessible veterinary care, providing evidence-based and contextualized options, and communicating the importance of veterinary care. Her MSc in clinical communication focused on financial discussions in companion-animal practice. In her personal time, Catherine can be found reading with any number of animals on her lap, or in the ocean.
