Dr. Melanie Barham is a veterinarian and project management professional (PMP), and holds an MBA in Sustainable Commerce.  She has been the CEO of Community Veterinary Outreach since 2022, following several executive positions across animal health, and clinical practice career.  She has a proven track record of supporting organizational growth in alignment with values, and collaborative problem solving across a broad range of projects and sectors, including agriculture, veterinary, animal health, surveillance, vulnerable population work, startups, mature companies, not for profits, and brands.  When not working with CVO, she runs a consulting company supporting animal health companies in their strategy and supporting leaders in making change.  About working with Community Veterinary Outreach, Dr. Barham says, “it has been the gift of a lifetime to work with leaders across Canada to help keep pets with the people who love them.”
