Jeremy & Molly

Jeremy and Molly have been attending Community Veterinary Outreach clinics in York Region since our establishment in 2017.

Like many others, Jeremy grapples with various life difficulties that cause significant stress and insecurity for him and his dog, Molly. Jeremy is vulnerable and, at times, has had to resort to living in shelters. He relies on friends to provide temporary shelter, often sleeping in tents due to the lack of available options. Jeremy and Molly are inseparable companions. Molly has a remarkable, wonderful, and friendly nature, and Jeremy is her family. They find solace, friendship, and a sense of security in each other’s presence.

Regrettably, last summer, Jeremy encountered some difficulties, separating Jeremy and Molly.

Since they had been a part of each other’s lives for so long, Jeremy’s friends reached out to our team. We promptly took care of Molly, ensuring her safety and confirming that no harm had come to her during the incident. Emergency boarding was arranged for Molly while Jeremy was unable to be with her. After a month of Molly being boarded, Dr. Angela and her team were able to provide her with personal care for several weeks until Jeremy and Molly could finally be reunited.

It was crucial for Jeremy to know that Molly was safe, and the Community Veterinary Outreach team was lovingly caring for her and ensuring her well-being until they could be reunited. Their reuniting was incredible moment to witness.

We are grateful to support human-animal bonds that make up our great communities, like Jeremy and Molly.
