May May is a Critical Care Registered Nurse and the CVO Director for the Vancouver region. She first joined CVO as a volunteer in 2021 while attending nursing school at the University of British Columbia, and has remained passionate about CVO’s mission ever since. May May specializes in pre- and post-operative care in the Post-Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU), where patient education forms a central part of her practice. She brings this same dedication to her role at the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre as a nurse educator, empowering community members through primary care navigation and preventative health education. Outside of healthcare, May May stays grounded by spending time outdoors, whether hiking BC’s trails or swimming, and relaxing at home with her two cats.
