Pamela Heise

Pam has been volunteering with Community Veterinary Outreach since 2019. It is with a strong dedication to assisting others that she approaches the topic of smoking cessation. Throughout her career she has been instrumental in developing and sustaining programs that lead to better health in the community. She has enjoyed managing corporate and private sectors, and worked alongside the military while deployed in four combat environments.  She is an advocate of giving back to the community, and has been on three Global Village builds Habitat for Humanity. She currently volunteers with Community Veterinary Outreach and holds a position on the Board of Directors, and is on the Family Selection Committee for Habitat for Humanity. She has worked in Prevention and Rehabilitation in smoking cessation at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute since 2010.
